Payment reminders that never chase a paid invoice

A reminder to a customer who has already paid costs more than the late payment did. Perintä is built around one rule: read the books first, write second, and let a person send.

Start from the books, not from memory

Perintä reads your open invoices from Baslic or Dualo every time it works; with Procountor it works from the open-invoices export you give it. An invoice that was paid this morning is no longer open, so it is never chased. How late an invoice is, it counts from the invoice's own due date, never from an old note or a number in an earlier draft.

One reminder, one proposal

For each invoice that is late, Perintä drafts a reminder in the customer's language. Kieli checks the language before you see it. The draft waits for you with the invoice beside it: number, amount, due date and what the customer has paid before. You approve it, edit it or reject it. Nothing is sent on its own.

Polite first

The first reminder assumes the payment is on its way. It gives the invoice number, the amount and the due date, and says that the message can be ignored if the money has already left. A firmer second reminder is drafted only after the first one, and you decide whether it goes.

Payments without a reference

When a payment arrives without a reference, Perintä proposes the invoice it most likely belongs to, by amount and payer. It is matched only when you confirm, so your books never contain a guess.

What you see

The open invoices, the reminders waiting for you and the payments that came in, in one place. On your phone, the same reminder arrives in Telegram with the text quoted in full, so you can approve it on the way to work.
